lets get the MAD movement rolling...
can't believe that i'm staying up late to post this when i have squash camp tml. think my body's pretty much suited to night life. like way late till 4am after ra introduced bejewelled and hexic to me. a bit of reflection cos i think saturday was awesome! why? cos most of lcia-ers were present for MAD! cool huh? ra, fluff, smo n song. yar. song. haha the one who's always mia. yay! we did christmas tree decoration with ra's friend eric and another stranger joshua. the job wasn't too bad, and the company was g-r-e-a-t. great. had lots of fun, and we walked all the way from orchard mrt down to taka traffic light to get our ice-cream since ra had her lobang there, which didn't really turn out to be lobang. no discounts, no buy 2-get-1-free promotion. why did we walk all that distance? i really wonder why. it's okay cos we've done our part, and ra probably thought we needed more work for our legs. well, its okay cos eric got some lobang from the ice-cream uncle. haha i cant imagine anyone asking the uncle about his business, and his customers, etc etc while buying an ice-cream from him. so funny. sounds as though he's paving his way for job opportunities once he's out of school. i'm sure if u put ra and him and me in one room, i'll be laughing like MAD at them both. nevertheless a nice guy. then song went MAD halfway while we were decorating the christmas trees, laughing hysterically; fluff was MADly caught up with decorating her own christmas tree with silver ornaments; smo was MAD cos she didnt want an ice-cream after a hard day's work; and joshua was MAD -- yup, making a difference, o and he was MAD cos he ate his ice-cream super fast, breaking fluff's record! gosh. certainly has to go into the book of world records!and sunday was a day of mourning. why? cos our tree is GONE!! ra made the shocking discovery while trying her stint as a self-employed professional photograph attempting to finish 2 rolls of film. unconvinced, i made fluff go with me to put my specially-designed christmas postcard (oops, its the spca postcard actually) at our very own christmas tree. and who knows? the christmas tree there had this tag with "SPCA" on it. hmph. my postcard (or rather spca's) not needed to spell out SPCA's ownership of the tree. definitely not our tree. so sad. haha but the trees beside the dustbin that we decorated were left untouched. not surprising right. so dropped my card there, quite obscure actually. if anyone's going down to the fair, do go and take a look at the card. :) just doing my part to make a difference.
