lc keeping fit!

impromptu lc gathering at coro. song smsed me one hour earlier to call for urgent lunch meeting at novena. thankfully, i changed her mind and song, robs and i met up at the nearest makan place from the top of hillcrest (a pity yong tau foo stall wasn't open, otherwise i would probably settle for that instead of squashing one hour of my day away for the sidegate to open. training ended at 12, and gate opens at 1 on the dot). so before i left our beloved second home, i thought of our dear pres, who has a long craving for .... erm ... bubble tea. what's nicer than cheap, cool nj bubble tea? the person who brings you just that, in that case, yours truly.

surprise surprise! i was the early bird for the day, despite coming 5 minutes later than the time we planned to meet. and i was the bearer of the trophy that our dear pres had to run for, cos she dropped off one stop earlier. cheap, cool nj bubble tea. what an honour! went receeing coro while 2nd-in-throne robs made her way there by ... (tada!) mrt!! and bus!!! (applause please). well, shouldn't be too harsh on robs. it's not her first time by public transport anyway, maybe her second, third, fourth... fifth.. :) we settled for the western food stall, can't remember the name though. doesn't help right? cos it's all western at coro, well almost all.

then we gave nus a nice surprise visit at her house. okay. i think the phone call was more of a surprise, since we made a call before popping by. notice the fine tradition of politeness that our dear founders started out with, the rest is up to us to continue. the bus ride from coro to pandan valley was short. was planning to catch a nap or some 39 winks after all that training in the morning, but we were there in a flash. so we dropped by at nus place, ate some snacks, drank some tea, talked a bit, looked at some pictures. that crazy girl actually discovered lcia blog!!! too much free time at home. eh ra, u better get your photog people to collaborate with hers, and get her off our blog. mission 'without a trace' -- all up to you ra.

supposed to play basketball since song brought her ball all the way from home to coro to pandan valley, after so many bus rides plus mrt ride, but either song or robs decided the gym was where lc has to sink its roots in. we went there for 1 and a half hours. song started with the treadmill, and she was scary!! running at 10 (whatever the units was) and the uncle beside her strolling away on the treadmill seemed petrified. robs and i were at the other end of the gym working on our leg muscles too, not that the gym was huge, so we were still rather near each other, and i could feel the heat coming from song. and poor us! we were walking backwards for half an hour before we realised that we could actually walk forewards on that machine! we tried the weights next. pretty cool, but we were soon back to shaping our legs. robs' papa came to join us for a short while, before both of them left for home.

lc gathering officially ended after song and i parted ways at the kk bustop. more exciting activities waiting for lc members.. erm creative fair on 20 nov. be prepared to get the latest gadgets that are bound to keep you captivated and all the more affirm your status as lc member. i'm glad to say that's the only event we have up next. in the meantime, put on your lc thinking caps and come up with more lc activities will you?
