lucky not-so-lucky
hey! i'm back, but not for long. i'm not like lucky ppl frm ac who are done with their term exams, or the not-so-lucky-but-will-be-lucky-soon cj person who will be done in a week's time. common tests after the hols, i think its the same for fel. haven't been posting cos i hardly have time at the computer, and when i do, it's more or less going to excel updating the membership for interact, or surfing km for answers to this or that tutorial, or hoping yahoo will give me a solution to my math game!
zainal's back for training, and benson's gone for good i think. most of the girls prefer benson, but i guess we need zainal to push us further if we want to get something out of this year's nationals. one more month to nationals, and there's quite a lot to work on. really hope that we won't exhaust ourselves with nationals and common tests and assessments (for the ips).
the holidays are here in two weeks' time and it feels like it's not going to be anything close to a holiday for me. must try to do something together then ok. it feels like we're leading individual lives and only meet once in a long time. haha feels so lc alrdy.

God's been God. of course! tiring though! throughout this week i felt like dumping meself on the nice cosy bed and floating off to dreamland... but! i gotta do hw and study. as u pple already noe! terms are in about 16 days or so!. hmm. ac still havent given us schedule yet.
o wells. i have physics tuition now! quite good lah this guy! going for cell now... yos! long time no update
heya lc-ers! just to drop a note, so u all wont be so bored looking at d same stuff all the time. haha. say thank you to ra n robs for uploading pics, otherwise my post from long time ago will remain on your screens for a long long time. :)
after the good time off with each other's company, we're back to school -- upcoming tests, uncomplete homework, long school hours etc. you realise it's all about school? sigh. maybe i really should re-organise my life. anyway, something memorable from monday: jiatian wanted to try out cricket after a silly (and funny) pub stunt in the morning (mr menon acted in it!! anything with mr menon is funny la.) informing the whole school population that they're setting up a girls' cricket team. it's weird, come to think of it, that they are setting up new ccas in nj -- volleyball, basketball girls', cricket girls' etc, when they were telling us last year that some ccas may face the axe! hmph. nj is so flippant about such stuff. so i was waiting at the squash courts for jiatian to come back from lunch at chinese high, doing my homework (i'm super laggy for homework! dont know why also. everytime i think i'm doing okay, the teachers make sure that i've got more to do!) then we went down to talk to the person-i/c of cricket, and jiatian was like HUH! when she learnt that she had to go down to kallang twice a week for cricket training! and both days clash with squash training. sigh. but it's good to have a change, cos jiatian's been doing squash for two years already. so we went back to the squash courts, and tried doing homework, while the guys had their training. they're supposed to play round robin, but turnout wasn't too good. the guys very slack. then jiatain needed some help with a trigo question (she's ip btw, meaning sec 4 this year), so i tried to help, and i couldn't work on the question!! didn't even know how to start. previously, my s08 junior asked me to solve a binomial question and i couldnt do it too!! oh no, think i'm using less of my brains these days. anyway, we recruited the other squashers to help solve the question (there weren't many btw), and pohshen was super funny, haha cos he started drewing triangles, and then he couldnt see what he was writing, so he exclaimed aloud that he needed to draw a bigger triangle. funny la. in the end, ben saved the day. haha with the help of the formula list. can't believe that ip's are doing what we do in j1!! hmph. they need to fine-tune their brains for all these.
we had round robin for girls today. lost two of my three matches, but it was good play, especially the one with sabu. think there's so much more we have to work on, if we want to compete with vj, aj at the least. :( then tk helped me a bit with my math. haha she's super nice. always helping me with stuff. actually i realise that i dont mind not being in the team, i just enjoy the company of my fellow squashers, especially the j2s -sock, rf, tk- and jt, and maybe the new j1s too. :) and interact's more enjoyable these days, a big part goes to my fellow ex-cos and all the projects that we've gone through together, as well as my super enthu orientation group and some nice j1s. i think this year's batch of j1s are really an enthu and fun bunch. i'm sure we can expect a lot out of them. update on what's in nj these days: garage sale from greenlink + valentines' day sale from entreprise club + charity sale from s29 = competition for interact's sales on valentines! argh. but we have a super enthu bunch of j1s, so things should be okay. have to sell everything! minimum profit: $150. help.
